As a student intern, I was responsible for being the facility's outreach coordinator. I created new brochures that provided information on current and upcoming procedures and projects the facility would be involved in. I was responsible for completely overhauling the treatment plant's public website as well as creating a new photo archive that would supply this and other outreach materials. For Earth Day 2013, I was responsible for contacting local companies to participate in educating the public at this day's event at the local farmer's market.

I lead groups of volunteers in the dining areas to help facilitate and educate participants of NCUR on proper disposal of different types of used products. I informed participants of the differences between compostable, recyclable, and trash items. I was also responsible for overseeing groups of 3-5 people at 5 stations.
I have been responsible for caring of children at family homes. I have worked with 1-5 children at a time ages 3 months-14 years. I have watched children overnight when necessary.
